GITANMAAX CHILDREN WINTER CLOTHING ALLOWANCE - 2026
As the colder months approach, Gitanmaax Chief and Council are pleased to once again provide a $250 Winter Clothing Allowance to support Gitanmaax families and help ensure our children are prepared for the winter season.
This allowance is available to registered Gitanmaax Band members from newborn to 18 years of age, whether they live on or off reserve. The funding can be used to help purchase winter essentials such as jackets, boots, gloves, and other clothing needed to stay warm and comfortable throughout the season.
To make the application process easier, a fillable application form is available for download on the Gitanmaax website. Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete and submit a separate application for each eligible child as early as possible.
