Gitanmaax Band Council meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month (except December).
Community members are welcome to attend the public portion of Council meetings beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Gitanmaax Hall.
Council is currently working on offering a Zoom or Microsoft Teams option for members who wish to participate online. Meeting links will be shared on the Gitanmaax website and Facebook page before each meeting.
Member Forum
The Member Forum takes place at 6:00 p.m., providing members an opportunity to speak directly with Council before the regular meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
Want to address Council?
Members who would like to speak during the Member Forum are asked to submit a brief summary of their topic to info@gitanmaax.com (Attn: Executive Assistant) at least two weeks before the meeting date. Members who reserve time in advance will be included on the Council agenda.
Meeting agendas will be posted online at least 48 hours in advance.
