Gitanmaax is Seeking a Finance and Audit Committee Member
Gitanmaax Band is inviting qualified individuals to apply to join our Finance and Audit Committee.
This committee supports Chief and Council with important oversight responsibilities related to financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management. We’re looking for someone with strong business experience who can read and understand financial statements. Experience in First Nations administration, economic development, risk management, organizational sustainability, or related areas would be an asset.
Committee members are expected to prepare for and attend a minimum of five meetings each year, with compensation provided on a per-meeting basis.
