Interim Leadership Update

For Immediate Release

Gitanmaax Chief and Council would like to advise community Members that interim leadership arrangements have now been put in place to ensure stability and continuity of Band operations while recruitment for a permanent Executive Director is undertaken.

Effective immediately, Greg Wass and Teri Muldon will continue sharing responsibilities as Acting Executive Director on an interim basis. In addition, certain operational responsibilities may also be shared amongst senior staff during this transition period to ensure continued support for departments, staff, and community services.

Chief and Council are committed to ensuring that the important work currently underway continues moving forward in a stable, accountable, and organized manner while preparations are made for recruitment of a permanent Executive Director.

We thank our staff and community Members for their continued patience, professionalism, and support during this transition period.
