Youth Summer Job Opportunities – Gitanmaax Band (June 13, 2025)

Are you between the ages of 16 and 29 and looking for meaningful summer employment? The Gitanmaax Band is offering a variety of Youth Summer Jobs that provide valuable work experience, skill development, and community involvement. With a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour and up to 35 hours per week, these positions are ideal for motivated individuals ready to contribute to their community.


We are currently hiring for the following roles:

  • Office Assistants (2 positions) – Support administrative tasks, digital marketing, and community projects.

  • ‘Ksan Museum Customer Service/Tour Guide Representatives (2 positions) – Engage with visitors, lead tours, and assist with museum operations.

  • Operations & Maintenance Summer Workers (2 positions) – Help maintain public spaces and assist with community infrastructure.

  • ‘Ksan Village and Campground Groundskeepers (2 positions) – Maintain campground facilities and ensure a welcoming environment for guests.


Start dates vary (some positions begin ASAP, others start July 2) and run through late August, with potential for extension. Applicants must have a valid Social Insurance Number and meet other role-specific requirements.


Priority will be given to Gitanmaax Band members.
